Amazing Pic

This amazing pic is of one amazing destination that explorers love top explore. The Great Blue Hole is a large underwater sinkhole off the coast of Belize. The rim of the Blue Hole starts about 30-35 feet down, and though it's certainly worth it to descend further past the entrance, the perimeter diving and snorkeling is really excellent enough. It lies near the center of Lighthouse Reef, a small atoll 62 miles from the mainland and Belize City. It was formed as a limestone cave system during the last glacial period when sea levels were much lower. As the ocean began to rise again, the caves flooded, and the roof collapsed. Believed to be the world’s largest feature of its kind, the Great Blue Hole is part of the larger Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System. This place is attracts divers as well as photographers because of its natural beauty that is visible from high sky also.
